Results and Race Data

StrideSignal stores reviewed public results with the source organization, source title, source URL, publication date when available, and the date StrideSignal last checked the source. A row from an official ranking list remains labeled as an official ranking-list entry. A result collected from another public results archive remains source-derived and is not relabeled as an official ranking.

Athletes may add missing or newer races. A manual entry must include a positive finite performance and enough context to understand the event. It remains athlete-entered until supporting evidence is reviewed. Manually entered results are never silently converted into official results.

The import system compares stable source IDs and performance identity fields such as athlete, event, class, date, mark, and meet. Matching records update the stored row when appropriate instead of creating a duplicate. Possible conflicts are retained for review, and prior values remain available through revision history.

• Official: published by the identified governing or competition source.
• Imported: added from a reviewed data file or source snapshot.
• Manually entered: supplied by the athlete or administrator.
• Pending: waiting for verification or identity review.
• Rejected: not accepted for active use; retained for accountability.

Use the source link to compare the stored value with the publication. Report incorrect information to the StrideSignal administrator and include the athlete, event, date, mark, and authoritative source. Administrators can correct or archive a record without deleting its revision trail.
